We met Harper and Kalie on a thursday night in Owensboro, KY for their engagement session. The forecast called for rain, but they were down to keep the session no matter the weather. Embracing the rain to showcase, what I call, a romantic and barefoot summer session! We wanted lots of movement to really document their fun loving nature in their relationship. Kalies smile is so contagious and we didn't want lots of posed shots to dim that at all. They were so willing to do any idea we had no matter how weird it may have sounded.

As I wad editing the photos, it felt like they were taken in Savannah. GA. The lush greens and wet air felt like we just had to be near water! I suppose it was just them and their love that transported me to the coast.

Their wedding is set for next April. We are so honored and excited to document their bright and colorful day. It will describe them perfectly, I know!
